Lehigh area Hotel/Restaurant Information can be found here.
If you are coming to the Susquehanna layouts, Bob's layout is located east of Lancaster and I am located west of Lancaster and Steven is west of Harrisburg in Camp Hill.  There are many possibilities for lodging and restaurants in the Lancaster Area, and some of you like staying at the
Bridgeview B&B in Marysville.  I will be happy to make recommendations for your stay and dining pleasure, just drop me a line.  And there is always the Red Caboose Motel by Strasburg.

Directions are sent to guests via e-mail about two weeks before the event.  Please contact me if you did not receive them.

By registering for this event, you are making a commitment to operate the assigned model railroads.  Out of respect for your fellow guests and the model railroad owners, PLEASE arrive on time (we understand that emergencies happen...but please notify either myself or the model railroad owner as soon as possible).  Also, while each model railroad has extra throttles available (see note below), we ask that each guest bring along an FRS (family channel) radio with a headset or ear bud.  Providing them for all the guests is simply cost prohibitive for the model railroad owners.  Please look over the FAQ's (see link above) for more information.

Please complete the registration form here.

BIG NOTE!!! - You can fill in the form online and email it to me.  I have tested the form in both IE11 and the current Firefox browsers.

This form may be filled out using the free Adobe Acrobat software...or you may just e-mail me all the information.  I really only care that I get all the information on forms, not the format that I receive it in...

If you are really interested in operation and do it more then one or two times a year, you may want to invest in an FRS radio - with a head set (never too early or late to suggest as a wonderful Christmas present!
Google FRS radio and you will see lots of different types and manufacturers.
May I suggest  the following unit from B&H photo  https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1171655-REG/motorola_t460_2_way_radio_blue_es_35.html
and to go with that how about a nice headset to go with it https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/173528-REG/Motorola_53725_53725_Headset_with_Microphone.html/pageID/accessory

You may sign up EITHER for the Lehigh layouts or the Susquehanna layouts, but may NOT sign up for some in each group.  There are a TOTAL of 12 three session slots available in the Lehigh area and 10 three session slots in the Susquehanna area.  No prior operating experience is necessary for these slots.

Layout owners will be in touch with you after assignments have been made.  They will likely send you orientation material and may ask additional questions .  While the hosts will have extra throttles available, there is no guarantee to what "type" of throttle will be provided.

For example, on a Digitrax system, you may have a large DT400, a small DT300 (which is admittedly harder to use), or a single knob UT4.  It will be a working throttle, however.  We are borrowing throttles from "regulars" for this event, so we will not have an extensive selection from which you can choose a favorite.  You may certainly bring along a favorite throttle, but be aware that the layout owner may ask you to change to a different one for a variety of reasons (radio type, consisting ability, etc.).

All layouts in the Susquehanna area are now WiThrottle ready!
